spotlight special: in threes

Blogs I follow on blogspot that I find interesting/pretty/special and am now willing to share with you:

• Bread and Honey

Funny, local, and with variety. I enjoy this blog when I'm feeling too lazy to cook something up. I'll sit there in my pajama shorts, toast and coffee balanced on my knees, and dream of tomatoes and cheeses and and vinegars while gazing at the wonderfully composed pictures. And then I'm extremely bitter that I have to go grocery shopping to have food in the house. Anyway. Food, I love it.

• The Daily Figure

This must be what zen would look like. Feel like. Lines and ink and pools of darkness. An ease of oneness that is achieve by certainty and practice. Yeah, ok, it's a blog of expressive figure drawings, but dude, no, you're wrong, it's a philosophy.

• Dump of Paint

If I were a better blogger I'd be like this person. They just make me want to organize my blog in an entirely new way, because of their drawings...look, you don't have to see the connection between that. What I'm trying to say is that in my mind what I am trying to achieve with my art is what that artist did. Wait, no that doesn't make sense either. I just like their drawings, ok. And the fact that they include music. Because I like music.
