My friend Stephanie and I burned the midnight oil collaborating on open canvas. I don't know what we were thinking, but overall I think we struck a good stride of ideas and subjects. My favorite is the first one with the Sailor Moon crossdressers. She favors They Were Kung Fu Fighting. I suppose the middle one is the unloved child being ignored on its birthday.

I saw a meme for December where you draw yourself each day. I thought I'd give it a try. There are only so many ways you can draw a portrait. Do I look like that? Maybe in some aspects. I'm not using reference so everything is from an internal source. Hell, the me that lives inside my head. If I look miserable it's because I am. Hello, finals week. Good bye necessary level of sane sleep.

I don't make it a habit to cross entries, mostly because I don't want to take the time. But, hahaha! This time I will with an image to be use as a segue to my comic project.


You now know Uru, so let me introduce you to Boy (nee Alec), he's the cutie on the left. Obviously.

He's the main character. I like him. He's down in the sewers looking for his creature. A monster either made up or very real. :o

And what happens after you finish a quest? Do you just hang around waiting for another one, or does it never end, the consequence and fall out a constant? Or something.



How many pages do I have? 2. Does much happen other than walking, climbing, and wandering? No... Obviously there's need to be some sort of conflict somewhere for Boy.

OC Warm Up

I haven't been doing digital drawings in a while so I did a few quick warm ups today, this one was the one that came out best.

What New Titles

I maybe like this one too much. I feel guilty when I look at something I did too favorably. It feels like a conceit, almost, but it's much more favorable than the constant 'not good enough' gloom that appears with other projects, so I'm not terribly apologetic.

The problem with working on a laptop, or specifically my laptop, is that the image I see isn't consistent on other computers. It looks saturated and heavy on one computer, and terribly underexposed on another. So. I'll eventually figure out how to deal with that. Hah. Ha.

^ btw I wrote all that two weeks ago and saved in 'draft' for the rainy day that I had to share something. Anyway, my feelings have changed a bit since the infatuated state. What a bother! Well. I guess I'll have to work on something that can be my new favorite. Tsk.

I have a bad habit of forgetting why I do anything after I do it. Drawing-wise, I mean. I'll try and fix that by saying a little something with the drawings I post here. With this picture I wanted to play with light. The hair is clumpy, so maybe the next drawing exercise I do will be about making hair less clumpy. Her expression -- I really like. And the lines on her shoulders.

This is a high school thing. No, the picture isn't from when I was in high school. But if you knew me during that period, then this picture makes perfect sense. Or it should. The Ninja Monkey of Doom. Yeah. Look, I was a Freshman, ok. No further explanation needed.

Anyway. I drew this for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. It's a quick doodle, so I have no idea why I feel the need to blather away, but hey, you don't have to read this if you don't want to. So yes, my alter ego. Blahblahblah.

Basic scene: The Ninja Monkey [o.D.] is stealing T-G-P's sekrit box. T-G-P is sleeping away, unaware. Ninja Monkey succeeds, of course, in stealing it. Or...do they?

New to you in any case. The newest is from...a few weeks back. Ah. I have to stop keeping things hidden away.

I drew this for a friend on LJ. Sora, from Disney's/Squareenix's KH, on a rock, with ridiculous hair. I'm still quite pleases with it, and it makes me smile. But that's possibly because I have a story associated with it already. Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite games.
Concept WIP drawing! I will work on it as soon as my wrist cools down. Looking at it, I feel a deep need for color. Seriously. Color. It needs it. So badly. My little heart can't take the blandness.

For my friend's 18th birthday. She wanted a porny picture of two characters she likes to write about, but, this was what I could delivere. I think it rather sweet, to be honest.
