robotitup

My friend requested suit gangster and Halloween robot. I-I don't know why I picked the most boring examples for those themes. SO SORRY, BUTLER.

I think I'm done with robots. FOREVER???? Or for a while.

robo-bebop

Might have been inspired by today's reading of Air Guitar by David Hickey. That or the gardening book. I don't know.

Things U.R.U.

I was surprise when I could only find these in the desktop. I was sure I had more Uru things around the place, but I guess they live primarily in my sketchbook. Or I did, I deleted them. I do that a lot, sometimes, delete things and then am lost to what I did with them later on.

digi digi pixelation

I'm cleaning out my files, deleting this and that, avoiding some, and being vastly horrified by the majority. But not these ones. I actually dig them. Mostly. Sort of. Well, maybe only the one.

March

Let us not look at it as a failure, but as an opportunity where I blatantly show how unreliable I am when it comes to finishing my own challenges. It's like this blog curses me. Next time I want to do a challenge I'll wait until I'm all done. That way I can save face. Oh well. Bah. Bah! Humbug.

Let's move on.

I dedicated this to my mother, who always wants me to draw her something on the computer, and I rarely do. So, seeings as it was her birthday, and that I drew it with her in mind, this goes out to her, my most favorite lady in the universe. She teachers me jokes in Spanish (who I have no one to repeat to but my cats, as they never seem to translate well into English). Anyway. This is for her.

City Girls

Oh jeez, I'm stupid. I mixed up the names. It's suppose to be Pam, Fran, and Sam. Too late to change it now! They're suppose to represent Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle. Or! City Girls. That's right.

Ignore the lack of shoes. Or. Feet.

Woman of Many Name

I have been drawing today, but it's secret work. And anyway they're preliminary sketches.
So there's this amazing writer out there who, in this case, is writing this enticing story about a world where organizations run mysterious operations, and angels and demons aren't quite at war with each other. Rich imagery at every turn, practically, as is her calling card. These pictures, which really don't do anything justice, were done for her, because seriously, I don't think any decent artist could resist her vivid scenes. They're how I see her characters. Or something. Anyway you should look her up. Livejournal link. She's amazing.

I just realized that when I draw for this story I use MS Paint. Hahahah. Weird?

Some old some semi-new

New to you in any case. The newest is from...a few weeks back. Ah. I have to stop keeping things hidden away.

I drew this for a friend on LJ. Sora, from Disney's/Squareenix's KH, on a rock, with ridiculous hair. I'm still quite pleases with it, and it makes me smile. But that's possibly because I have a story associated with it already. Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite games.
Concept WIP drawing! I will work on it as soon as my wrist cools down. Looking at it, I feel a deep need for color. Seriously. Color. It needs it. So badly. My little heart can't take the blandness.

For my friend's 18th birthday. She wanted a porny picture of two characters she likes to write about, but, this was what I could delivere. I think it rather sweet, to be honest.

Finishing Up

I've kept my photoshop open for the past -- oh, a lot of days. It's been bad for my computer, but what can you do. Close it, I suppose. I'm finishing a special project. Photoshop, I won't be missing you. Well, maybe a little.

Incidentally, this picture was made with MS Paint.

Another e-mail doodle. There are more, but I feel weird showing too many of our doodle-ations.

summer-ish

Feeling like summer: when I look out my window, I see lots of summer girls walk by in their powder make up and sliding flip flops; some with freckles hiding 'neath clear foundation.

Not Late!

Another e-mail drawing I did for my friend. This time, we, the heroes, fend off the loving squishy death of Paco's bulk. <333 He is so squishy!

I have a thing for endings.

Just playing around with MS Paint.

This was totally inspired by the Princess and the Cobbler., or otherwise known as The Thief and the Cobbler. A very cool animated movie that I had a chance to watch recently. Um. I don't know.

I know it seems very messy and uncool, and sort of, why the hell is this up? Well, I really, really, really like it. Um. OK, I admit that the picture itself doesn't really. Something. And. Um. I have a vision, ok? So, just go with me, and hopefully, you'll see what I see. Or not. It's cool. Visions are usually a by person deal. I'll bring this up again later.

And then, finally, something really silly. ;A; You know what you did. Hahahahah, no, just kidding. My friend and I sometimes exchange e-mails of ourselves in doodle form. ilu, fool. That's all I really have to say.

May has been good to me.

tie a tie

Now for some words.

WIP. All I gotta say. Only, maybe, abandoned WIP. I like it thought. Something about the knees and legs that really make me feel pleased. I don't know.

For my friend. MS Paint, ilu.

I was working on a self portrait a little bit ago. Or like, January. But this is just practice. It sort of looks like me? No, that wasn't a question.

Mano y algo

I have a lot of things sitting in my desktop hoping to be finished or shown one day, so I figured, why not. I'll let them get some fresh air.

A friend of mine wrote a story where a robot was having his hand fixed, and the image stayed with me for a while. This was a first draft. I've since made other drawings with hands and wires in printmaking, but those aren't done. One day I might finish this. But not likely. Still, I'm a bit fond of it.

And other times I'm asked to draw things for other people. This is cool, since I get to practice doing portraits of people without copying the reference and still making them look like them. It's very hard for me, for some reason, but all the practice is making me better. So I really can't complain.

Nah, I'm still going to complain.
