I was recently asked how image transfer works, and since, in truth, it is a messy and slow process (if done right!), I'm only going to provide links to other people who've already felt the need to do a how to. They are a more productive people than me, that's the truth. Enjoy and learn, and please direct your questions to the actual creators. Thank you.

I'll admit first off that I didn't actually spend the time to read all of the article. I went over the instructions, and they're pretty spot on. They offer a lot of options and images to go with the general process. Live Studio: Image Transfer Techniques . They are the most extensive, and best if you are struggling with how to start and what to do.
But if you want an easier guide to, Utrecht has what you want: Fun with Acrylic Transfers. They have a simple layout, and are to the point. And they start out with a fun project if you want to follow along.
This one is my favorite one: Acrylic / Gel Medium Transfers. It offers a history, is generally more personable, and I'm biased because they are a local artist. Solidarity, yo, solidarity.
Finally for the visual learners, here's a video. I looked at five different videos, and this one was the best. It's around nine minutes long, but please don't let that stop you, she's really wonderful at explaining the process and giving good examples.
You are welcome!
Go and do some art now, plebs.

No patience
Things I am going to do today that rule.
- Spend the night at friends house.
- Do background for SilentActorBoy thing (although, maybe it's more of a concept portrait of a kid who is a silent film actor.) I totally have it planned out. I'm gonna grab some acrylics and drip-drip-drip, and then after it dries I'm grabbing a good sharpie, and then after that, more oil pastel.
- Eat at a cheap-but-delicious restaurant with my brother.
- Draw.

Boring details
Projects I have started and just need to finish.
- I've been working on this comic on and off. Actually me and my friend. Mostly we just talk about it and on occasion I sketch out the rough idea. It's pretty cool, in my opinion. It's, uh, it's, ok--it is a cyberpunk sort of deal. Sort of. I actually have no idea how to classify it, but that's what my friends call it, so I guess there you go.
- I have a few paintings outlined for male objectification. Basically have men in the regular poses associated with hyper sexualized female ones.
- A fairytale photography story. I have a few photos done, but mostly, my models keep flaking on me.
- Finish illustrating my creatures of myths.
