Cleaning the studio: part one

I am organizing my studio. After being absent for three months, I've forgotten where I kept some things and how much I had of other things. It's nice to be back into my own little space. I'll put up pictures as I sort things around and make it into a respectable bachelor's pad artist studio.

I bought a new plant for my studio. Her name is Josie and she is beautiful. When she grows a bit more I'll draw her portrait.

Ignore the two on the bottom left, they are from 2008 and -- useless. During the last school term I worked a lot with small scale spray painting. They were aquatic in theme and the use of color is inexcusable except for the fact that I keep refusing to purchase colors that aren't fluorescent or eyesores.

And a piece I neglected to put up when it was made. A dry point self portrait. Because I like self portraits. I made it during the beginning of the year out of plexiglass and wrist hurting patience. I like how it came out.

Spring 2008

Oh goodness, I don't really feel like talking about this. Mostly finished prints from my end of the term portfolio. I got some good comments on them.

This one is a WIP. I like it. A lot. It has crazy potential.

Ummm, I met a very nice skeleton. We had some fun times together.

Apparently this one looks better from a distance. Hahahahah, I guess the bead-like things pop out. A Man mountain.

:O A classmate told me that the R. in the hand stands for right hand. I never even noticed that! It actually stands for...well, that doesn't really matter. R. Hand.

:o Where did I find this skull? I think I had a candy skull lying around. Lalalalalala. It was a fun process. Picture transfer.

This one was a direct (attempted) copy of Rembrandt's A Woman Sitting Upon a Hillock.
I'm happy with what came out. I love her smile.
