There are stories to these
But they are best told in Spanish.

First time I ever went to Mexico I was three. I stayed at an aunt's house while my grandmother's funeral was held. From that visit I only remember eating tons of cup ramen.
Second time was for a little less than a week. We drove down to Guadalajara from L.A. when I was eight years old. We visited my mothers old house, and I chased lots of pigeons.
I visited Tijuana with my aunts for a few hours, one summer day. But that doesn't count.
Third time was in March of 2006, last year. I went with my dad and we stayed for a week. My dad took me to see the Aztec pyramids, and Mexico D.F. Those pyramids are fucking tall.
And my last trip was in June 2007, for ten days. I took many solitary bus rides and let the rain wet my feet.
When I close my eyes and stay very still, I can still hear the thunder.
